About us
Tazel Charity Organization Uganda is a newly founded non-profit initiative dedicated to supporting orphans, vulnerable children, youth, and the elderly through education, care, and provision of basic needs. The organization was founded in 2023 by Bwogi Faisal and Mawejje Hamuza and is officially registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) as a non-profit organization (Registration No. 80034450820552). We are currently in the process of completing NGO registration and kindly invite support from partners and well-wishers to help us achieve full registration and obtain the required NGO permit.
The organization was established with the primary aim of improving the livelihoods of disadvantaged communities through comprehensive support programs that include educational assistance, vocational and skills training, and access to essential basic necessities. Our interventions are designed to address both immediate and long-term needs within vulnerable populations, ensuring that individuals are not only supported in times of crisis but are also equipped with the tools required for self-reliance and sustainable development. In addition, our programs actively promote community hygiene and sanitation, strengthen awareness and response mechanisms against domestic violence and abuse, and contribute to poverty reduction through carefully structured, sustainable income-generating initiatives. Through these integrated efforts, we remain firmly committed to creating meaningful and lasting impact while transforming lives and restoring dignity within the communities we serve.
Over the previous years, the organization has been operating from a rented facility that serves as an orphanage and safe shelter for children in need. Currently, we are directly caring for approximately 310 children, including 60 children from the wider community who, although not formally orphaned under our direct classification, are fully under our support and protection due to their vulnerable circumstances. Through this work, we have been able to reach hundreds of children with nutritious meals, access to education, emotional support, and safe spaces where they can grow, heal, and dream again. Our approach goes beyond simply providing food and shelter; we are dedicated to holistic child development, ensuring that every child is empowered, encouraged, and given the opportunity to believe in and work toward a brighter and more secure future.

Tazel Charity Organization Uganda Rise changed my family's future.
"

Helping Children is Our Main Goal
Generosity is the flower of justice: The better off you are, the more responsibility you have for helping others.

Here at Tazel Charity organization Uganda, we believe that each child deserves a chance for a better future. We are committed to helping poor and needy children of Uganda, by giving food, clothing and an opportunity to learn. We try to do whatever it takes for the children~everyday, and in times of crisis, giving hope to the hopeless, transforming their lives...and the future we share. We are currently fundraising to build a home for orphans and abandoned children and to provide clean, drinking
We know what it means to lose your family and live on the streets, spending each day searching for something to eat, and a place to lay your head. We have taken these children off the streets and we are caring for them, providing food, clothing, shelter, and education with support through donations. We also shares with the needy children in villages, including help for their education. With the increased numbers of Ugandan orphans sleeping on an empty stomach, poor children whose parents can't afford school fees, or even the very basic needs, every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference.
Save one , Save all
We work across Uganda to save children's lives, defeat poverty, and achieve social justice.
Tazel charity organization Uganda is dedicated to empowering vulnerable children in Uganda by providing a safe haven, holistic education, and the tools they need to reach their full potential. Sometimes, the greatest purpose in life is born from the greatest struggles.
There are moments in life when you can either ignore the suffering around you or choose to become part of the solution. My journey taught me that true success is not measured by the wealth we accumulate or the titles we hold, but by the lives we help transform and the hope we restore in others.
My name is Mawejje Hamuza, and I am deeply honored to serve as the Founder & Director of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. This role is far more than a title to me—it is a calling, a responsibility, and a commitment rooted in my own life experiences and the hardships that shaped me into the person I am today.
I was born and raised in Wakiso District, in a humble family where life was often a daily struggle. Raised by a single mother alongside my six siblings, I witnessed firsthand the sacrifices a parent makes when resources are scarce. My mother worked tirelessly to provide for us, often carrying burdens that no parent should have to bear alone. There were many days when food was limited, school fees were uncertain, and medical care seemed beyond our reach.
As a young boy, I walked more than five kilometers to school each day, determined to pursue an education despite the challenges. There were times when I lacked basic scholastic materials and moments when dropping out seemed inevitable. Yet through every obstacle, I held onto one belief: education was my pathway to a better future.
After my school years, life remained difficult. Like many young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, I had to work hard simply to survive and support myself. For six years, I worked as a bricklayer, spending long days under the scorching sun, carrying heavy loads, mixing mortar, and laying bricks on construction sites. It was exhausting work, but it taught me some of the greatest lessons of my life. Every brick I laid reminded me that success is not built overnight—it is built through patience, sacrifice, and persistence. Those years strengthened my character and gave me a deep appreciation for the struggles faced by ordinary men and women working tirelessly to provide for their families.
Those difficult years taught me lessons that no classroom could ever teach. They taught me resilience when circumstances were discouraging. They taught me humility when life was unfair. Most importantly, they taught me compassion for those who struggle every day simply to survive.
What broke my heart most was seeing bright and talented children in my community abandon their dreams because of poverty. I watched classmates disappear from school, not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked opportunity. Their stories stayed with me long after I left the classroom.
Through hard work, determination, and faith, I eventually built my career and became a businessman. Yet no matter how much my life changed, I never forgot where I came from. I never forgot the children who still walked the same dusty roads, faced the same hunger, and carried the same uncertainty that I once did.
The more I reflected on my journey, the more I realized that success means very little if it is not shared with others. True success is lifting others as you rise.
This belief inspired me to work alongside a group of passionate individuals who had experienced similar struggles growing up. Together, we shared a vision of creating an organization dedicated to serving vulnerable children, struggling families, street children, and elderly people who often feel forgotten by society.
From that vision, Tazel Charity Organization Uganda was born.
We did not begin with wealth.
We did not begin with powerful connections.
We did not begin with abundant resources.
We began with compassion.
We began with faith.
We began with a desire to make a difference.
Today, Tazel Charity Organization Uganda stands as a beacon of hope for many vulnerable individuals and communities. Guided by our motto, “Save One, Save All,” we believe that helping one child, one family, or one vulnerable person can create a ripple effect that transforms entire communities.
As Founder and Director, my responsibility is to provide leadership, strategic direction, and vision for the organization. I work closely with our team, volunteers, supporters, and partners to ensure that our mission remains focused on creating lasting impact through education, healthcare support, feeding programs, community outreach, and empowerment initiatives.
One of the greatest joys of my life is witnessing the impact of our work. I have seen children return to school after losing hope. I have seen families regain their dignity after receiving support. I have seen elderly people feel valued again and street children discover opportunities they never thought possible.
These moments remind me why Tazel exists.
These moments remind me why we continue.
These moments remind me that hope is powerful.
My dream for Tazel Charity Organization Uganda extends beyond the present. I envision a future where we acquire our own land and establish a school, a vocational training center, and community facilities that will provide sustainable opportunities for vulnerable children and young people. I believe that education and skills development are among the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty and creating lasting change.
Beyond this, I carry an even greater vision in my heart—one that I pray God will allow us to achieve. In my dreams, I see Tazel Charity Organization Uganda owning a large piece of land that will become a permanent home of hope, love, and opportunity for vulnerable children and families. I dream of constructing a large orphanage where orphaned and abandoned children can grow up in a safe and caring environment, surrounded by people who genuinely love and support them. I dream of building a fully equipped school where children can receive quality education regardless of their financial circumstances, and a health center where families can access essential medical care and treatment close to home.
I also dream of establishing a church that will serve as a place of worship, spiritual growth, and guidance, helping people strengthen their faith and find hope during difficult times. Furthermore, I envision creating agricultural projects on our land where we can grow our own food, teach modern farming practices, and promote self-sustainability. Through farming, we would not only provide nutritious food for the children and families under our care but also create opportunities for skills development and income generation.
To many people, these may seem like ambitious dreams. But to me, they represent something far greater than buildings and land. They represent hope for a child who has nowhere to sleep. They represent education for a child who cannot afford school. They represent healing for a sick mother, dignity for an elderly person, and opportunity for an entire community. Every day, I pray that through God’s grace and the support of compassionate individuals around the world, this vision will become a reality and continue transforming lives for generations to come.
However, this vision cannot become reality without the support of compassionate individuals and organizations who believe in our mission.
Today, I humbly invite you to join us on this journey.
Your support—whether financial, material, professional, or through advocacy—can help us provide education, food, healthcare, protection, and hope to those who need it most.
Together, we can restore hope.
Together, we can create opportunity.
Together, we can transform communities.
Together, we can prove that when we Save One, We Save All.
Thank you for believing in our vision and for standing with us as we work to build a brighter future for the children, families, and communities we serve.

“True success is not measured by what we achieve for ourselves, but by how many lives we help transform along the way.”

Before titles, before positions, before anything I am today—there was a life that shaped me in silence. Some people see the challenges facing vulnerable communities and walk away. Others choose to become part of the solution. I chose to become part of the solution.
My name is Kiira Christopher Wambuzi, and I serve as the Chairperson of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. But my journey did not begin with leadership. It began with survival, with questions life never answered, and with moments that taught me to grow up faster than I ever should have.
I did not grow up in comfort. I grew up in a place where silence carried meaning, where laughter was rare, and where even basic needs were sometimes a struggle. There were nights when hunger became normal, when we pretended everything was fine just to keep each other going. As a child, I watched others live freely while I learned responsibility far too early. There were days I felt unseen, unheard, and forgotten by the world around me.
Those experiences did something to me. They did not destroy me—they shaped me. Pain taught me awareness. Struggle taught me endurance. And loneliness taught me how to see others even when no one saw me. I learned that strength is not loud; sometimes it is simply waking up and choosing to continue.
There are parts of my story I cannot fully explain, not because I am ashamed, but because some emotions do not translate into words. What I can say is this: life broke me in ways that made me more human, not less. And somewhere in that process, I made a silent promise to myself that if I ever had the chance, I would stand where others feel helpless and be a voice where there is silence.
That promise is what led me to Tazel Charity Organization Uganda.
I did not join because everything in my life was perfect. I joined because I understood imperfection. I understood need. I understood what it means to wait for help that may or may not come. And I knew that if change was going to happen, it had to come from people who have lived through something similar.
At Tazel, I found something rare—people who believe that pain can be turned into purpose. People who do not ignore suffering but respond to it. People who understand that a child’s future should never be decided by where they were born.
As Vice Chairperson, my role is to support leadership, guide organizational direction, and help strengthen the systems that allow our mission to reach the people who need it most. I work closely with the Chairperson, board members, and partners to ensure that what we plan is not just written on paper but translated into real impact in communities.
But beyond structure and responsibility, my deepest duty is emotional: to never forget the human faces behind our work. Every child we support carries a story. Every family we reach carries pain we may never fully see. Every small victory—returning to school, receiving food, finding hope again—means everything to someone who once thought they had nothing left.
Tazel Charity Organization Uganda exists because we refuse to accept that poverty should silence dreams. We exist because we believe that dignity should not depend on circumstance. And we exist because too many lives are still waiting for someone to care enough to act.
I have learned that real leadership is not distance—it is closeness. It is feeling what others feel, seeing what others experience, and refusing to look away when life is hard to witness. That is the kind of leadership I try to carry every day.
There is still so much to be done. Too many children still go to sleep with empty stomachs. Too many families still carry burdens alone. Too many voices are still unheard. But I also believe this: change does not begin with abundance. It begins with awareness, compassion, and action.
So today, I do not only speak as a leader. I speak as someone who has lived on the other side of struggle. And I invite anyone reading this to become part of something bigger than themselves.
Not because it is easy—but because it is necessary.
Together, we can turn lived pain into lasting change. We can turn silence into support. And we can turn survival into opportunity.
Thank you for believing in a vision that continues to grow from both experience and hope.

“Some people lead from position. Others lead from pain. I chose to lead from understanding.”

My name is Bwogi Faisal, and I am honored to serve as the Co-founder and Executive Director of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. I am privileged to lead the impactful work carried out by our organization, and I take great pride in contributing to positive change in the lives of underprivileged children across Uganda and Africa at large. In addition to my role within the organization, I also operate a phone and accessories business, which significantly supports the activities of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. Over the years, I have dedicated my life to creating a lasting impact by ensuring that children have access to basic necessities, education, and opportunities for a brighter future.
I am often referred to as “The Father of All Children,” a title I deeply cherish because it reflects my unwavering commitment to the welfare of children who have no one else to depend on. Many people also know me as “Big Phasal,” a name that has become associated with hope and transformation. I carry these titles with humility, responsibility, and a strong sense of purpose, knowing that our efforts continue to positively transform many lives.
The journey toward establishing Tazel Charity Organization Uganda has been defined by resilience, passion, and unwavering dedication. It all began in early 2020 during one of the most challenging periods in modern history—the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many others, we experienced the hardships caused by lockdowns, economic difficulties, and widespread uncertainty. However, amid these challenges, I recognized an even greater need to rise and support the most vulnerable members of society—orphans and children living in poverty.
With the dedicated support of my two longtime friends, I embarked on a mission to establish an organization that would bring meaningful change to children’s lives, beginning from a rented home where we are still now. From the outset, our vision was clear: to provide shelter, food, education, healthcare, and emotional support to children who had been abandoned, orphaned, or were living in extreme poverty.
Initially, it was a small initiative that began with only a few children. We worked tirelessly, utilizing the limited resources available to ensure these children had food to eat, a safe place to sleep, and access to education. The early stages were filled with numerous challenges, including financial limitations, logistical obstacles, and the immense responsibility of caring for vulnerable young lives. Nevertheless, giving up was never an option.
As the months progressed, Tazel Charity Organization Uganda continued to grow. More people began recognizing our efforts, and soon well-wishers and donors joined our mission. By remaining transparent, accountable, and deeply committed to our goals, we successfully expanded our reach. Today, I am proud to say that our organization supports more than 246 children, providing them not only with basic necessities but also with hope for a brighter future.
Every child under our care has a unique story—stories marked by loss, hardship, and pain. Through Tazel Charity Organization Uganda, we have been able to rewrite many of these stories by replacing sorrow with joy, despair with hope, and suffering with comfort. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing the remarkable transformation in the children we support. Seeing them smile, play, and dream once again continually reminds me why I began this journey.
Beyond providing immediate support, our organization remains committed to long-term empowerment. We firmly believe that education and skills development are among the most effective ways to break the cycle of poverty. For this reason, we strive to enroll every child under our care in school to ensure they receive quality education. We also equip them with essential life skills, preparing them to become self-reliant and productive members of society.
However, our efforts extend beyond supporting children alone. We understand that strong communities create stronger futures. That is why Tazel Charity Organization Uganda also participates in community development initiatives, including:
Health and Sanitation Initiatives – Providing access to clean water, healthcare services, and hygiene education.
Food Security Projects – Distributing food supplies and promoting sustainable agricultural programs.
Despite the progress we have made, the challenges remain substantial. There are still thousands of children in Uganda and across Africa who lack access to basic necessities. The demand for our services continues to grow, and we are constantly working to expand our capacity in order to reach more children in need.
Operating a charity organization requires resources, partnerships, and collective effort. We greatly depend on compassionate individuals, organizations, and donors who share our vision and believe in our mission. Without their support, we would not be able to provide food, shelter, education, and healthcare to the children who rely on us.
As I look toward the future, my dream is to see Tazel Charity Organization Uganda grow into a nationwide and international movement that impacts the lives of countless more children. I envision a future where no child in Uganda has to sleep hungry, miss school, or suffer because of limited access to healthcare. I also dream of establishing a fully equipped children’s home, schools, and medical centers dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable members of society.
However, this vision cannot be achieved alone. It requires a community of people who believe in love, compassion, and humanity. That is why I warmly invite individuals, organizations, and well-wishers to join us in making a meaningful difference. Whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness, every contribution plays an important role.
The work we do at Tazel Charity Organization Uganda goes beyond charity—it is about giving children a second chance at life. It is about restoring dignity, hope, and opportunity. It is about creating a world where every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to thrive and fulfill their dreams.
I am incredibly proud of everything we have accomplished so far, yet I know our journey is far from complete. There are many more children who still need our support, and with your partnership, we can continue reaching them, uplifting them, and transforming their lives for the better.
Thank you for believing in our mission. Thank you for supporting Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. Together, we can create a better world, one child at a time.

My name is Dinah Masika and I serve as the Financial Director at Tazel Charity Organization. I joined Tazel in 2023, during a time when the organization was still growing, still finding its feet—but already filled with vision and heart.
Before joining Tazel, I worked at Equity Bank, where I built a strong foundation in finance, systems, and accountability. But deep inside, I always knew I wanted my skills to serve a bigger purpose—something that could directly change lives. When I found Tazel, it felt like the perfect alignment of my profession and my passion.
From the very beginning, I knew that my role here would be about more than just numbers. Accounting, the profession that it is, demands precision, discipline, and trust. But in a place like Tazel Charity Organization , it also demands compassion. Every financial report I prepare, every budget I draft, isn’t just paperwork—it’s a roadmap for change.
Over the years, I’ve worked hard to bring transparency and structure to our financial systems. We’ve developed clear budgets, donor reports, and long-term plans that help us make the most of every single donation. Our supporters know that their contributions are handled with care—and that’s something I’m deeply proud of.
I’ve also had the privilege of being closely involved in our projects on the ground. Whether it’s visiting the children, or planning new facilities. Right now, one of our biggest goals is to raise enough money to purchase land and build a permanent home for the orphanage and other activities. We’re still renting, and that limits what we can offer these children. But I believe, with faith, transparency, and the continued support of kind-hearted people, we’ll get there.
To me, finance isn’t just about control—it’s about stewardship. It’s making sure that every coin stretches as far as it can, and that every decision we make as an organization is rooted in responsibility and love.
This isn’t just my job. It’s my calling.

My name is Nakirijja Vivan and I proudly serve as the Treasurer at Tazel Charity Organization. Being part of this organization is not just a position for me—it is a calling that comes from my personal experiences, my compassion for others, and my desire to bring hope to vulnerable people in our communities.
Growing up, I witnessed many painful realities that shaped the person I am today. I saw families struggling to survive without enough food, children unable to attend school because of poverty, and many people losing hope simply because they lacked support. In my community, hardship was something we lived with every day. There were moments when even basic necessities felt impossible to afford, and watching people suffer without anyone to help touched my heart deeply.
As a young person, I often asked myself why some people had to go through so much pain while others lived comfortably. Those thoughts stayed with me and slowly developed into a passion for helping others. I realized that although I could not change the whole world at once, I could still make a difference in someone’s life through kindness, honesty, and compassion.
That passion eventually led me to Tazel Charity Organization, where I found people who shared the same vision of supporting vulnerable children, homeless individuals, struggling families, and people who have been forgotten by society. Joining this organization gave me an opportunity to turn my compassion into action and become part of something meaningful.
As the Treasurer at Tazel Charity Organization, I carry a responsibility that I take very seriously. I help manage the organization’s finances, oversee budgeting, keep financial records, and ensure that every donation and contribution is used properly to support those in need. I strongly believe that trust and transparency are very important in charity work because every coin donated represents someone’s hope, sacrifice, and belief in our mission.
Whenever I see people willing to support our work, I feel inspired and humbled. It reminds me that humanity still exists and that people are capable of coming together to change lives. My role is to make sure those contributions are handled responsibly so they can reach the children, families, and individuals who depend on our support.
One of the most emotional parts of this journey has been meeting vulnerable people face to face and hearing their stories. Some children have no families to care for them. Some parents struggle every day without knowing where their next meal will come from. Others sleep on the streets with no shelter or protection. Seeing such situations can be heartbreaking, but it also motivates me to continue serving with dedication and love.
There are many challenges in charity work. Sometimes resources are limited, yet the number of people needing help continues to grow. There are moments when we wish we could do more but are restricted by finances and other difficulties. Even so, I have learned that true service is not only about having abundance—it is about having the heart to keep going even during difficult times.
Being part of Tazel Charity Organization has changed my life in many ways. It has taught me the value of empathy, teamwork, sacrifice, and hope. Every smile we bring to a child, every family we support, and every life we touch reminds me why this work matters.
Through my role as Treasurer, I remain committed to supporting our mission and helping create a future where vulnerable people are given hope, dignity, and the opportunity to live better lives. I believe that no one should feel forgotten or alone, and I will continue working with compassion and dedication to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

A voice can do more than speak—it can inspire hope, unite communities, and bring attention to those whose cries often go unheard.
My name is Kaduyu Ronald a Pastor, and I am honored to serve as the Spokesperson of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. This role is more than simply communicating information; it is about representing the voices of vulnerable children, struggling families, widows, and communities facing some of life's greatest challenges.
I was raised in a God-fearing home where faith, compassion, humility, and service to others were not merely taught but lived every day. My father has been a pastor throughout my life and continues to serve God's people today. Growing up under his guidance placed me in an environment where I learned the importance of loving others, helping those in need, and standing up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
From an early age, I watched my father open our home and heart to people who were struggling. I witnessed families seeking comfort during difficult times, children in need of support, and individuals searching for hope in moments of despair. These experiences shaped my character and instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility toward serving humanity. They taught me that true leadership is not about personal success but about uplifting others and making a difference in their lives.
As a pastor, I have continued to carry these values throughout my ministry. I have listened to the stories of parents who worry about how they will provide for their children. I have prayed with families facing hardship and loss. I have met vulnerable children whose dreams are threatened by poverty and lack of opportunity. Every encounter has strengthened my commitment to being a voice for the voiceless and a source of hope for those who feel forgotten.
When I joined Tazel Charity Organization Uganda, I found a mission that reflected the very principles upon which I was raised: love, compassion, service, and faith in action. I saw an opportunity to combine my calling as a pastor with a practical mission of transforming lives and strengthening communities.
As the organization's spokesperson, I serve as a bridge between Tazel Charity Organization and the supporters, partners, donors, and communities we serve. My responsibility is to share the stories of vulnerable children and families, raise awareness about their challenges, and inspire others to join us in creating lasting change.
One of the greatest blessings of this work is witnessing lives transformed. Seeing a child return to school, a struggling family regain hope, or a community come together to support one another reminds me that God's love is often expressed through acts of kindness and generosity.
Today, I humbly ask you to stand with us. Together, we can be a source of hope for vulnerable children, struggling families, and communities in need. Through your support, prayers, partnership, and generosity, we can continue transforming lives and building a brighter future for generations to come.
Thank you for believing in our vision and for helping us make a lasting impact where it is needed most.

“Faith teaches us to love. Compassion moves us to act. Together, they have the power to transform lives.”
Proverbs 31:8 (NIV)

My I know what it means to grow up without opportunities. I know what it means to dream beyond the limits of poverty. Most importantly, I know what it means to refuse to give up.
My name is Luzinda Ashiraf, and I am honored to serve as the Program Director of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda.
I was born and raised in a poor community and spent much of my childhood growing up in the slums, where life was filled with challenges, uncertainty, and hardship. Like many children in vulnerable communities, I witnessed poverty firsthand. I saw families struggling to afford food, children unable to attend school, and many young people losing hope because opportunities seemed beyond their reach.
Despite these difficult circumstances, I remained determined to pursue education and build a better future. Through persistence and hard work, I continued my studies to higher levels. Although I was unable to complete my university degree, I refused to allow that setback to define my life or destroy my dreams.
After my studies, I searched for employment opportunities wherever I could find them. I volunteered my services, worked tirelessly, and was even given an opportunity to work abroad. Like many journeys in life, things did not unfold as I had expected. Challenges arose, plans changed, and eventually I returned home. However, I continued working diligently, saving whatever I could and believing that one day my efforts would create something meaningful.
Through dedication, discipline, and perseverance, I eventually raised enough capital to establish a small retail business. Today, that business continues to grow steadily and helps support both myself and my family. While I was grateful for this progress, my heart remained connected to the community where I grew up.
As I traveled and interacted with different people, I began reflecting on the conditions in my home village. I realized that while I had managed to overcome some of the obstacles that once stood before me, many families were still facing the same struggles I had witnessed as a child. Children were still dropping out of school because of poverty. Families still lacked access to proper healthcare. Many households struggled to afford basic necessities, and countless vulnerable children continued to live without hope for a brighter future.
These realities touched my heart deeply and inspired a vision that would eventually change my life. I dreamed of helping create a happier, healthier, and more educated community where children could grow up with opportunities rather than limitations.
Together with childhood friends and old boys from the village—individuals who had experienced similar hardships growing up—we decided to take action. We did not begin because we were wealthy. We did not begin because we had abundant resources. We began because we loved our community. We began because we understood the pain of poverty. We began because we believed that every child deserves hope.
From that shared vision, Tazel Charity Organization Uganda was born.
Tazel Charity Organization is founded upon God’s message of love, compassion, service, and care for humanity. Our mission is to support orphaned, abandoned, hungry, homeless, and vulnerable children while improving access to education, healthcare, and community development opportunities. We believe that every child matters, every life has value, and every act of kindness can transform a future.
As Program Director, I oversee the planning, implementation, and growth of programs designed to uplift vulnerable communities and create lasting impact. Every project we undertake is guided by a simple belief: no child should be denied the opportunity to succeed because of the circumstances into which they were born.
Some of the most emotional moments in my journey come when I see children smile again after receiving support, when families regain hope after years of struggle, and when communities begin to believe that a better future is possible. These moments remind me why Tazel Charity Organization exists and why our work must continue.
Today, I humbly call upon individuals, organizations, foundations, and well-wishers around the world to join us in this mission. Whether your support is financial, material, professional, or through raising awareness, your contribution can help transform lives and strengthen communities.
Together, we can provide education to vulnerable children, improve healthcare access, support struggling families, and create opportunities where none previously existed. Together, we can build a future where every child has the chance to dream, learn, grow, and thrive.
Thank you for believing in our vision and for helping us make a lasting impact in the lives of those who need it most.

“We started with little, but we started with love. Today, we continue with faith, hope, and a commitment to transform lives.”

My name is Mukyala Shifah and I serve as the Children’s Welfare Officer at Tazel Charity Organization. Caring for children has always been something close to my heart because I understand how much love, guidance, and support can shape a child’s future. Many children grow up facing situations they never chose—poverty, hunger, neglect, and lack of education—and it is painful to see innocent lives affected by circumstances beyond their control.
From an early age, I was deeply moved whenever I saw children struggling to survive without proper care or opportunities. I remember meeting children who spent their days on the streets searching for food instead of being in school like other children their age. Some had lost parents, while others came from families that could barely provide even the basic necessities of life. Those experiences stayed with me and planted in me a strong desire to become someone who could bring comfort, hope, and protection to vulnerable children.
Joining Tazel Charity Organization gave me the opportunity to turn that passion into action. The organization’s commitment to helping disadvantaged children and families inspired me because it reflects the same values I believe in—compassion, humanity, and service to others. Being part of this mission has allowed me to work directly with children who need emotional support, encouragement, and a safe environment where they can feel valued.
As the Children’s Welfare Officer, my role focuses on supporting the wellbeing of the children under our care. I help identify the challenges they face and work together with the organization to find ways of improving their lives. This includes helping children access education, organizing welfare support, providing emotional care, and ensuring they feel heard and protected. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give a child is simply showing them that someone truly cares about them.
One thing that has touched me deeply in this journey is seeing how children continue to smile even after experiencing so much hardship. Their strength and innocence are incredibly inspiring. Every time I see a child regain confidence, return to school, or feel safe again, it reminds me why I chose this path. Those moments give me hope and encourage me to continue serving with dedication.
Of course, the work is not always easy. Many vulnerable children still lack access to proper shelter, education, healthcare, and emotional support. There are times when the needs are greater than the resources available, and that can be heartbreaking. However, these challenges motivate me to work even harder because every child deserves a chance to live with dignity and hope for a better future.
Working with children has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of kindness. I believe that when children are supported and protected, they are more likely to grow into responsible and confident individuals who can positively contribute to society. A caring environment can completely transform a child’s life and give them the courage to dream beyond their current circumstances.
Through my role at Tazel Charity Organization, I remain committed to standing with vulnerable children and helping create opportunities that can brighten their future. My goal is to continue being a source of encouragement, care, and hope for children who feel forgotten, and to remind them that their lives matter and their dreams are valid.

The law has the power to protect, defend, and restore hope—but only when it is used to serve people, especially those who are most vulnerable and justice is not only found in courtrooms. Sometimes, it begins with protecting the rights of a child, defending the dignity of a family, and ensuring that the most vulnerable members of society are not forgotten.
My name is Nakamanya Harriet and I am honored to serve as the Legal Adviser of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. In addition to this role, I am a practicing Attorney and Advocate based in Mengo, Uganda, where I provide legal services and representation while advocating for justice, fairness, and the protection of rights within our communities.
For many vulnerable people, especially orphaned children, street children, widows, and elderly individuals, access to legal knowledge and protection is often limited. Many suffer in silence because they do not know their rights or lack the resources to seek justice. This reality has strengthened my commitment to using my legal knowledge and experience to support those who need protection the most.
Throughout my legal career, I have encountered many individuals who face challenges not only because of poverty but also because they lack access to legal guidance and protection. I have met widows struggling to secure their property rights, vulnerable children in need of legal protection, families facing disputes, and elderly individuals who often feel powerless in situations that affect their lives and dignity. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to using my legal knowledge to serve both justice and humanity.
As Legal Adviser, I work closely with the leadership and management of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda to ensure that our programs, partnerships, and operations are conducted with integrity, transparency, and accountability. I provide guidance on legal matters, review important documents, advise on policies, and help ensure that the organization operates in accordance with the law while remaining focused on its humanitarian mission.
However, my work goes beyond legal documents and regulations. Behind every policy is a human life. Behind every decision is a child, a family, or a community that may be affected by the outcome. This understanding reminds me that the law should not merely be a set of rules—it should be a tool for protecting people, promoting fairness, and creating opportunities for those who are most vulnerable.
Through my involvement with Tazel Charity Organization Uganda, I have come to appreciate the incredible resilience of the people we serve. I have seen children overcome unimaginable hardships, families rebuild their lives after difficult circumstances, and communities unite to support one another. These experiences continually remind me why organizations like Tazel are so important.
Tazel Charity Organization Uganda is committed to supporting orphaned, abandoned, hungry, homeless, and vulnerable children. We also extend our support to street children, struggling families, and elderly members of our communities who often face neglect and hardship. Our mission is rooted in compassion, dignity, and the belief that every human being deserves an opportunity to live with hope and respect.
As Legal Adviser, I am committed to helping safeguard this mission by ensuring that the organization remains strong, accountable, and well-positioned to serve those who depend on it. I believe that when legal protection and humanitarian service work together, they create a powerful foundation for lasting change.
Today, I invite individuals, organizations, and partners to join us in this important mission. Your support helps us continue protecting vulnerable lives, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for a brighter future.
Together, we can build a society where rights are respected, dignity is protected, and every child, family, and elderly person has the opportunity to thrive.
Thank you for believing in our vision and for standing with us as we work to create a more just, compassionate, and hopeful future.

“True justice is not only about enforcing the law—it is about protecting the vulnerable, defending dignity, and giving hope to those who need it most.”

There are moments when a child is not asking for much—only a meal, only strength to make it through the day, only a reason to believe tomorrow will be better than today.
My name is Semakula Bosco, and I serve as the Nutrition & Feeding Officer of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. My work is centered on one of the most basic human needs—food—but I have come to understand that behind every meal we provide is a life being stabilized, a child being strengthened, and a future being protected.
I did not come into this role seeing food as just nutrition. I came to understand it through experience—through witnessing children who arrive weak from hunger, families who struggle to share what little they have, street children surviving each day without certainty of food or safety, and elderly people in our community who have been left alone or unable to provide for themselves. These realities are not distant stories—they are the people we meet and serve every day.
There are days when I stand in the middle of a feeding program and I do not just see food being distributed—I see relief. I see shoulders relax. I see children eat slowly, as if trying to make the moment last longer because they are unsure when the next meal will come. I see street kids smiling with gratitude after receiving food, and elders quietly expressing relief that they have not been forgotten. These are not just scenes of poverty; they are reminders of responsibility.
As the Nutrition & Feeding Officer, I coordinate food planning, nutritional support activities, and feeding programs across Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. I work closely with field teams to ensure that what we provide is not only available, but meaningful—food that restores energy, supports growth, and brings dignity to children, street children, families, and the elderly in our communities.
But this role is not measured only in quantities or distribution lists. It is measured in human moments. A child who smiles again after eating. A street child who feels cared for instead of ignored. An elderly person who receives a warm meal and companionship. A parent who breathes a little easier knowing their children will not sleep hungry tonight. These are the quiet victories that define my work.
Food insecurity is not just the absence of meals—it is the presence of fear. Fear of tomorrow. Fear of not being enough. Fear of watching children, street kids, or elderly loved ones struggle. Through our feeding programs, we are not only addressing hunger—we are confronting that fear with care, consistency, and compassion.
Tazel Charity Organization Uganda exists for children who have been forced to grow up too soon, for street children who have no safe place to call home, for elderly members of our community who need care and dignity, for families trying to survive each day, and for communities that deserve a chance to rebuild with hope. Our nutrition programs are one of the ways we turn compassion into action.
I have learned that when a child—or anyone—is well-fed, everything begins to change. Their strength returns. Their minds become clearer. Their hope slowly rebuilds. Nutrition becomes the foundation upon which education, health, dignity, and opportunity are restored.
Still, the need remains heavy. There are children who will go to sleep today without enough food. There are street children still searching for their next meal. There are elderly people who will spend the night alone without proper nourishment. There are families stretching a single meal across many mouths. This reality is what keeps our work urgent and necessary.
That is why I continue to serve—not just as someone who provides food, but as someone who believes that no child, no street child, and no elderly person should carry the burden of hunger alone.
Today, I invite you to be part of this work. Not just to give, but to stand with us in ensuring that hunger does not define a life or a future. Your support helps us bring nourishment, dignity, and hope where it is most needed.
Because sometimes, the difference between despair and hope is simply one meal shared at the right time.

“When hunger is replaced with care, every life—young or old—begins to believe in life again.”

Some people use cameras to take pictures. I use mine to preserve stories that the world might otherwise never see.
My name is Tumusiime Ivan and I proudly serve as the Photographer and Videographer of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. My role is not simply about capturing images and recording videos—it is about documenting humanity, preserving moments of hope, and giving a voice to vulnerable children, street children, elderly people, and families whose stories deserve to be seen and heard.
Behind every photograph and every video is a real person with dreams, struggles, and a story worth telling. Through my lens, I have witnessed children laughing despite hardship, street children finding moments of joy in difficult circumstances, elderly people expressing gratitude for the smallest acts of kindness, and families rebuilding hope after experiencing immense challenges. These are the moments that inspire me and remind me why visual storytelling matters.
As a Photographer and Videographer, I have the privilege of documenting the impact of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda’s work. Whether it is a feeding program, an educational initiative, a community outreach activity, or a visit to vulnerable families, I ensure that every image and video reflects the truth, dignity, and resilience of the people we serve. My goal is not only to capture moments but to capture emotions, experiences, and the powerful stories behind them.
One thing I have learned is that many people suffering in silence often remain unseen. A hungry child sitting by the roadside. A street child searching for safety and belonging. An elderly person struggling alone without support. These individuals may not have platforms to share their experiences, but through photography and videography, their stories can reach hearts across communities, countries, and continents.
At Tazel Charity Organization Uganda, we do more than support orphaned and vulnerable children. We also reach out to street children who have nowhere to call home and elderly people in our communities who need care, companionship, and support. Every outreach activity, every meal shared, every educational opportunity provided, and every act of compassion deserves to be documented—not for recognition, but to show the reality of the lives we are helping transform.
Some of the most powerful moments I have captured were not planned. A child smiling for the first time after receiving school supplies. A street child joining others in laughter after a warm meal. An elderly grandmother holding back tears because someone remembered her. These are moments that no words can fully describe, yet a single image or video can communicate them instantly.
I believe that photography and videography are more than creative skills—they are tools for awareness, advocacy, and change. They allow people who may never visit our communities to witness the realities faced by vulnerable people and inspire them to become part of the solution.
Every image I take and every video I create carries a responsibility. It is a responsibility to tell stories honestly, respectfully, and compassionately. It is a responsibility to ensure that every person we document is seen not for their struggles alone, but for their courage, dignity, and potential.
Today, I invite you to look beyond the photographs and videos and see the lives behind them. See the child whose future is being rebuilt through education. See the street child finding hope. See the elderly person rediscovering dignity and care. These are the stories that motivate our work every day.
Thank you for supporting Tazel Charity Organization Uganda and for helping us ensure that no story remains untold, no child remains unseen, and no vulnerable person feels forgotten.

“Every photograph freezes a moment. Every video tells a journey. Together, they remind the world that every life matters.”

What if the future of a child depended on someone willing to speak for them when they could not speak for themselves?
Every day, countless children wake up carrying dreams that are bigger than their circumstances. They dream of becoming doctors, teachers, engineers, leaders, and role models. Yet many of these same children face challenges that threaten those dreams before they even have a chance to grow. Some walk long distances to school without a meal. Others lack school fees, uniforms, books, and the support they need to continue learning. Many are orphaned, vulnerable, or living in difficult conditions that no child should ever have to endure.
My name is Nabweteme Prossy and I am honored to serve as the Education Coordinator and Assistant Spokesperson of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. This role allows me to combine two passions that are deeply important to me: helping children access quality education and being a voice for those whose stories often go unheard. I am a dedicated and versatile professional with experience in education, counselling psychology, research, hospitality, and community development. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Counselling Psychology at the University of Kisubi and hold a Diploma in Education (Secondary) from Kyambogo University.
My professional background includes working as a Freelance Assistant Researcher for BBC and Al Jazeera, where I conducted research on human trafficking and supported investigative journalism through information gathering, verification, and collaboration with international teams. I also served as a Reservations Consultant at Volcanoes Safaris Limited, managing travel arrangements and delivering excellent customer service to both local and international clients. As a secondary school teacher in Tanzania, I contributed to students’ academic growth and personal development while promoting cross-cultural understanding. Currently engaged in sustainable farming, I remain committed to community service and humanitarian work. I possess strong skills in counselling, mentorship, research, reporting, education, training, customer relations, and cross-cultural communication. Fluent in English and Luganda, with listening fluency and basic speaking ability in Kiswahili, I am passionate about supporting vulnerable communities through charitable initiatives and making a positive social impact. Academic qualifications, references, and appointment letters are available upon request.
As the Education Coordinator, I work closely with children, parents, teachers, community leaders, and development partners to ensure that educational opportunities reach those who need them most. I help coordinate educational programs, support learners, identify barriers to academic success, and advocate for the importance of education within our communities. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and discover their full potential regardless of their background or circumstances.
One of my greatest dreams for the children under our care is to create a sustainable educational environment where no child is denied an education because of poverty, distance, or lack of resources. This is why, in my opinion as the Education Coordinator, one of the most important goals for Tazel Charity Organization Uganda is the acquisition of a large piece of land. As a team, we have already planned to purchase approximately three acres of land, as we are currently operating from rented premises. Once this vision becomes a reality, we plan to construct both a formal school and a technical and vocational training institute.
This project is very close to my heart because I have seen many children struggle to access quality education due to long travel distances, school fees, and limited opportunities. A school established by Tazel Charity Organization would provide vulnerable children with easier access to education, while the technical school would equip young people with practical skills that can help them become self-reliant and secure a better future. I strongly believe that education is not only about academic knowledge but also about empowering children and youth with skills that can transform their lives and uplift entire communities.
As the Assistant Spokesperson, I help communicate the mission, vision, and impact of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda to supporters, partners, and communities around the world. I share stories of resilience, hope, and transformation while raising awareness about the challenges faced by vulnerable children, street children, struggling families, and elderly members of our communities. I believe that when people understand these realities, they are more inspired to take action and become part of the solution.
One of the most emotional parts of my work is witnessing the determination of children who refuse to give up on their dreams despite enormous obstacles. I have met children who study by candlelight, children who walk miles to attend school, and children who continue to smile despite the hardships they face every day. Their courage reminds me that education is not just about classrooms and textbooks—it is about hope, opportunity, and the chance to build a better future.
Tazel Charity Organization Uganda was founded on the belief that every child deserves dignity, support, and an opportunity to thrive. Through educational support, feeding programs, community outreach, and advocacy, we work to restore hope and create lasting change in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
As both Education Coordinator and Assistant Spokesperson, I have the privilege of seeing both the challenges and the victories. I see children returning to school after receiving support. I see families finding renewed hope. I see communities coming together to care for one another. These moments remind me that real change happens when compassion is transformed into action.
However, there are still many children waiting for support, many families facing hardship, and many voices that need to be heard. There are also dreams like our future school and technical institute that can only become reality through collective effort and partnership. This is why our mission continues, and why we invite compassionate individuals, organizations, and partners to stand with us.
Today, I warmly invite you to join our mission. Whether through financial support, sponsorship, advocacy, volunteering, or simply sharing our message, you can help create opportunities for vulnerable children and strengthen communities in need.
Together, we can ensure that no child is denied an education because of poverty, no voice goes unheard, and no dream is abandoned because of circumstance.
Thank you for believing in our vision and for standing with us as we work to build a brighter future for the children and communities we serve.

“Every child deserves an education, and every child deserves someone willing to speak up for their future.”

What would you do if a child’s dream depended entirely on the kindness of a stranger?
Every day, countless children wake up with big dreams but little hope. Some walk long distances to school on empty stomachs. Others sit in classrooms without books, uniforms, or even the certainty that they will return the next term. Many have lost parents, while others come from families struggling to survive. Yet despite these hardships, they continue to dream of becoming doctors, teachers, engineers, and leaders.
My name is Mutyaba George Justine, and I have the privilege of serving as the Assistant Education Coordinator and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. In this role, I support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of educational programs while helping to assess the impact of our interventions on vulnerable children and communities.
Education has always been one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives. Unfortunately, many children in Uganda continue to face barriers that prevent them from accessing quality education. Some walk long distances to school, others lack school fees and scholastic materials, while many vulnerable children struggle to remain in school due to poverty and family challenges. Witnessing these realities is both heartbreaking and motivating, as it reminds us why our mission is so important.
As the Assistant Education Coordinator, I work alongside the Education Coordinator, children, parents, schools, community leaders, and development partners to ensure that educational opportunities reach those who need them most. I help coordinate educational support programs, monitor learners’ progress, and identify challenges that may hinder children’s academic success. My goal is to contribute to creating an environment where every child supported by Tazel Charity Organization has the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
In my role as Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, I assist in collecting and analyzing information that helps us measure the effectiveness of our programs. Through assessments, field visits, data collection, and reporting, I help ensure that our projects remain accountable, transparent, and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve. Monitoring and evaluation help us understand what works, identify areas that need improvement, and ensure that every resource entrusted to us creates meaningful impact.
Nothing inspires me more than seeing a child who once lacked hope succeed in school and begin to dream about a better future. Every improvement in academic performance, every child retained in school, and every family empowered through education represents a step toward sustainable community development. These achievements remind us that investing in education is investing in future leaders, innovators, and change-makers.
Tazel Charity Organization Uganda remains committed to promoting education, empowering vulnerable children, supporting street children, assisting elderly members of our communities, and strengthening communities through sustainable development initiatives. However, this mission cannot be accomplished alone. It requires the support of generous individuals, organizations, and partners who believe in the power of education and compassion to transform lives.
I warmly invite you to join us in creating opportunities for children and communities across Uganda. Your support can help provide school fees, educational materials, mentorship programs, feeding initiatives, and other essential resources that enable vulnerable children to achieve their full potential.
Together, we can ensure that every child has access to education, every community has hope, and every opportunity for positive change becomes a reality.
Thank you for supporting our mission and standing with us as we work toward a future where education is accessible to all and where every child has the opportunity to pursue their dreams.

My name is Ssentamu Ashraf, and I serve as the Community Outreach Director at Tazel Charity Organization. My journey into charity work is deeply personal, shaped by my experiences growing up in a small village in Mukono District, Uganda.
Life was not easy. Poverty and limited access to basic resources were daily struggles for my family and many others in my community. Instead of allowing those hardships to define my future, I chose to turn them into motivation to create positive change.
From a young age, I understood that change does not happen on its own—it must be created through action, compassion, and determination. This realization inspired me to dedicate my life to helping vulnerable people in my community. Along the way, I met a like-minded friend, Hamuza, who shared the same passion for supporting those in need. Together, we began helping vulnerable families by providing food, shelter, and educational support to children and disadvantaged individuals.
As our efforts grew, we quickly realized that the needs of the community were far greater than the resources we had available. We needed a stronger platform, a wider network, and a sustainable way to continue making an impact. This led me to join Tazel Charity Organization, whose mission perfectly aligns with my passion for helping street children, homeless individuals, and other vulnerable populations.
As the Community Outreach Director, I use my personal experiences, leadership, and dedication to coordinate programs and initiatives that bring meaningful change to people’s lives. I strongly believe that every person deserves dignity, hope, opportunities, and access to life’s basic necessities.
Although challenges such as limited resources and logistical difficulties continue to exist, my commitment to serving others remains unwavering. My journey from a small village in Mukono District to becoming a leader in community outreach is proof that resilience, determination, and compassion can transform lives.
Through Tazel Charity Organization, I continue working toward a better future—not only for myself, but for the many people who have faced difficult beginnings and still dream of a brighter tomorrow.

In a world where many voices go unheard, communication becomes more than information—it becomes connection, hope, and a bridge between pain and action.
My name is Amanya Maurice and I am honored to serve as the Digital Communication Officer of Tazel Charity Organization Uganda. In this role, I am responsible for sharing the heart of our work with the world—ensuring that the stories of vulnerable children, struggling families, and resilient communities are seen, heard, and understood beyond the places where they originate.
I have come to understand that behind every child supported, every family reached, and every community transformed, there is a story that deserves to be told with dignity and truth. Many of these stories begin in silence—in places where poverty has limited opportunities and where hope often feels distant. My role is to bring those stories into the light, not to attract attention for ourselves, but to inspire compassion, action, and meaningful support.
As Digital Communication Officer, I manage the organization’s digital presence, including storytelling, awareness campaigns, social media communication, and content development. I work to ensure that every message we share reflects the reality of our mission: the challenges we face, the progress we make, and the lives that are being changed through collective effort. Communication, for me, is not just about visibility—it is about responsibility.
Every post, every report, and every message carries a human life behind it. A child returning to school after dropping out. A mother receiving relief after days of uncertainty. A community finding strength through unity and support. These are not just updates—they are living testimonies of hope, resilience, and transformation.
What makes this work deeply personal is understanding that many of the people we serve do not have platforms to tell their own stories. They do not have access to digital spaces where their struggles can be seen or acknowledged. That is why I see my role not as a speaker above them, but as a voice alongside them.
Tazel Charity Organization Uganda exists to support orphaned, abandoned, hungry, homeless, and vulnerable children, and to strengthen families and communities through education, healthcare, and empowerment programs. But beyond programs and initiatives, it exists to restore dignity where it has been lost and to remind people that they are not forgotten.
In today’s digital world, awareness can change everything. A shared story can bring support. A single message can open doors of opportunity. A moment of visibility can transform a life. This is why I take my responsibility seriously—because communication is not just about what is said, but about what is made possible through what is shared.
However, the need remains great. There are still many stories waiting to be told, many voices waiting to be heard, and many lives waiting for intervention. That is why we continue to call upon individuals, organizations, and partners to join us in amplifying this mission.
Through digital communication, we are not only sharing information—we are building a global community of compassion, awareness, and action. Every person who sees our message becomes part of the change we are trying to create.
Today, I warmly invite you to stand with us. Whether through support, partnership, sharing our message, or engaging with our work, you become part of a movement that brings hope to those who need it most.
Together, we can ensure that no story remains in silence, no child remains unseen, and no community remains forgotten.
Thank you for believing in our vision and for being part of the voice that carries hope forward.
